Terms of service


Article 1: Scope of Application

  1. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all relationships between the user (“User”) and Revelex Co., Ltd. (“Company”) regarding the use of the services provided on this website (“Service”).

  2. In addition to these Terms, the Company may establish individual rules and guidelines related to the use of the Service (“Individual Provisions”). These Individual Provisions shall be considered part of these Terms, regardless of their title.

  3. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and any Individual Provisions, the provisions of the Individual Provisions shall take precedence unless otherwise specified.

Article 2: User Registration

  1. To use the Service, a person wishing to register must agree to these Terms and apply for registration in the manner prescribed by the Company. Registration will be completed once the Company approves the application.

  2. The Company may reject a registration application if any of the following apply, and is not obligated to disclose the reason:

    • False information was provided during the registration process

    • The applicant has previously violated these Terms

    • The Company otherwise deems the registration inappropriate

Article 3: Management of User ID and Password

    1. The User shall manage their user ID and password responsibly.

    2. The User shall not transfer, lend, or share their ID and password with any third party. If the login credentials match the registered information, the Company will assume that the User accessing the Service is the registered User.

    3. The Company shall not be held liable for any damages resulting from the use of a user ID or password by a third party unless due to intentional misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the Company.


Article 4: Fees and Payment

  1. The User shall pay the usage fees for paid services, as separately determined and displayed on the website, using the payment methods specified by the Company.

  2. If payment is delayed, the User shall pay a late fee at an annual rate of 14.6%.

 

Article 5: Prohibited Conduct

  1. Users must not engage in any of the following acts when using the Service:

    • Acts violating laws or public order and morals

    • Criminal activities or related conduct

    • Infringing on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property

    • Disrupting or interfering with servers or networks of the Company or third parties

    • Commercial use of information obtained through the Service

    • Obstructing the Company’s operations

    • Unauthorized access or attempts thereof

    • Collecting or storing personal information about other Users

    • Using the Service for fraudulent purposes

    • Causing disadvantage, damage, or discomfort to other Users or third parties

    • Impersonating another User

    • Unauthorized advertising, solicitation, or sales activities

    • Seeking encounters with unfamiliar individuals

    • Providing benefits to anti-social forces

    • Any other acts deemed inappropriate by the Company

Article 6: Suspension of Service

  1. The Company may suspend or interrupt the Service, without prior notice, if:

    • Maintenance or updates are required

    • Service provision becomes difficult due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters)

    • Communication or computer systems are disrupted by accident

    • The Company deems it difficult to continue providing the Service

    • The Company bears no responsibility for damages resulting from the suspension or interruption of the Service.

Article 7: Restrictions and Deregistration

  1. The Company may restrict use or delete a User’s account without prior notice if:

    • The User violates any part of the Terms

    • False information is found in registration details

    • Payment obligations are not fulfilled

    • The User does not respond to communications

    • The Service has not been used for an extended period

    • The Company deems continued use inappropriate

  2. The Company is not liable for any damages resulting from such actions.

Article 8: Withdrawal

Users may withdraw from the Service following the procedure prescribed by the Company.

Article 9: Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

  1. The Company does not guarantee that the Service is free from defects (e.g., safety, accuracy, security, bugs, legal issues).

  2. The Company is not liable for any damages caused by the use of the Service, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

  3. Even in such cases, the Company is not liable for indirect or special damages, and any compensation will be limited to the amount paid by the User in the month the damage occurred.

  4. The Company is not involved in and assumes no responsibility for disputes between Users or between Users and third parties.

Article 10: Changes to Service Content

The Company may change, add, or discontinue the Service with prior notice to Users, who agree to such changes.

Article 11: Amendments to Terms

  1. The revision is beneficial to the User, or

  2. The revision is reasonable in light of its purpose, necessity, and content

  3. The Company may revise these Terms without individual consent if:

  4. Users will be notified in advance of the changes, their content, and the effective date.

Article 12: Handling of Personal Information

The Company will handle personal information obtained through the Service appropriately in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Article 13: Notices and Communication

Communication between the User and the Company shall be conducted via the method specified by the Company. Unless the User submits a change request, the Company assumes the registered contact information is current and valid.

Article 14: Prohibition of Assignment of Rights and Obligations

Users may not transfer or pledge their rights or obligations under these Terms without prior written consent from the Company.

Article 15: Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  1. These Terms are governed by Japanese law.

  2. Any disputes related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court, which has jurisdiction over the Company's principal place of business.
